Euro Car Electronics is a specialist European vehicle diagnostics and electronics workshop based on the Sunshine Coast.
Since 2011, we have helped vehicle owners, automotive workshops and trade partners diagnose complex faults, repair valuable electronic modules and resolve software-driven problems that often fall outside the capabilities of a general mechanical workshop.
Euro Car Electronics was founded in 2011 to provide a more specialised approach to European vehicle electronics, diagnostics, retrofits and performance.
As European vehicles became increasingly dependent on interconnected control modules, communication networks and specialised software, we recognised that many faults could not be solved through conventional mechanical repairs or by simply replacing parts.
We built Euro Car Electronics around proper fault diagnosis, vehicle-specific technical knowledge, electronics engineering and access to advanced diagnostic and repair equipment.
Euro Car Electronics is not a general mechanical workshop. Our focus is the electronic, electrical and software-controlled systems found in modern European vehicles.
Our team can diagnose a fault in the vehicle, remove and test the affected module, complete component-level repairs where possible, and then reinstall, code and validate the system.
This combined workshop and electronics-laboratory capability helps us identify the root cause of complex problems, avoid unnecessary parts replacement and provide solutions that make technical and financial sense.
Our Sunshine Coast workshop provides:
Our technical equipment includes Mercedes-Benz Xentry, Volkswagen Group ODIS, Porsche PIWIS, specialist BMW diagnostic and coding systems, advanced multi-brand diagnostic platforms, module bench-testing equipment, microscopy, microsoldering and professional BGA rework equipment.
Euro Car Electronics is located at 45 Wises Road, Buderim, QLD 4556.
Local customers can visit our workshop for advanced diagnostics, coding, electronic repairs, mechatronics work and ECU tuning. Australia-wide customers can access our specialist electronic module repair services by mail.
Having trouble with a complex European vehicle fault?
We primarily support modern European vehicles, including Mercedes-Benz, BMW, MINI, Audi, Volkswagen, Skoda, Porsche, Bentley and other specialist European marques.
Our electronics-first approach is particularly suited to intermittent electrical faults, battery drain, communication problems, non-starting vehicles, transmission and mechatronics faults, infotainment failures, coding issues and problems involving multiple interconnected vehicle systems.
Euro Car Electronics brings together experienced European vehicle technicians, electronics specialists, parts professionals and customer support staff.
Our combined knowledge of vehicle systems, electronics, software and component-level repair allows us to approach complex faults from several technical perspectives rather than treating them as isolated mechanical problems.
Martin worked in the UK for a number of years and after moving to Australia, he turned his hobby and passion into a business in 2011.
Martin was running a wakeboarding club in Townsville and being new to the area, had bought a GPS kit from Europe to fit into his car. โI had to do a fair amount of research and call on my connections in the industry in Europe to teach me how to retrofit the kit properly,โ Martin said. โI was very hands on in the early days of the business and did the earlier installs. So I quickly learned how to reverse engineer to get a specific result.โ
From this personal experience, Martin could see that this was not a unique problem and he started Euro Car Electronics.
