Vehicle Storage & Parking Policy

At Euro Car Electronics, workshop and parking space is limited and carefully managed to allow us to continue servicing customer vehicles efficiently and safely.
This policy applies to all vehicles left at our premises for diagnostics, repairs, programming, storage or assessment.

1. Vehicle Collection Timeframes

Vehicles must be collected within:

  • 3 business days after repair completion,
  • 3 business days after diagnostics completion,
  • or 3 business days after quotation rejection or work cancellation,

unless otherwise agreed in writing with Euro Car Electronics.

Clients will generally be notified by phone, SMS or email when the vehicle is ready for collection or when further instructions/payment are required.

2. Storage Charges

Due to limited workshop and parking capacity, storage fees may apply to vehicles left on-site beyond the allowed collection period.

Current storage charges are:

  • Standard passenger vehicles: from $35 per day incl. GST
  • Non-running, oversized, commercial, trailer or specialty vehicles: from $55 per day incl. GST

Storage fees may vary depending on:

  • vehicle size,
  • workshop access restrictions,
  • immobility of vehicle,
  • or space requirements.

Storage fees begin from the first business day after the allowed collection period expires.

3. Vehicles Awaiting Client Instructions

Vehicles left awaiting:

  • payment,
  • repair approval,
  • insurance decisions,
  • parts authorisation,
  • or further client instructions

may also incur storage charges if occupying workshop or customer parking areas for an extended period.

We encourage clients to maintain communication with our team to avoid unnecessary storage fees.

4. Abandoned Vehicles

Vehicles left uncollected for an extended period without communication may be treated as abandoned in accordance with applicable Queensland legislation.

Euro Car Electronics reserves the right to:

  • recover outstanding debts,
  • recover storage costs,
  • and pursue disposal or lien processes permitted under Queensland law where applicable.

Reasonable efforts will be made to contact the registered owner before further action is taken.

5. Liability & Vehicle Security

While reasonable care is taken with all vehicles left on-site:

  • vehicles remain at the owner’s risk,
  • and clients are responsible for ensuring their vehicle remains registered and insured while stored at our premises.

Euro Car Electronics is not responsible for:

  • loss of personal items left inside vehicles,
  • deterioration caused by weather, age or existing faults,
  • battery discharge,
  • or issues arising from vehicles being left stationary for extended periods.

6. Special Arrangements

We understand some situations require additional time. If you require extended storage arrangements, please contact our team as early as possible so suitable arrangements can be discussed.

By leaving a vehicle at our premises, the client acknowledges and accepts this Vehicle Storage & Parking Policy.
